I'm a physician and the founder of Sherpaa. I specialized in both pediatrics and preventive medicine. As a preventive medicine specialist, I strongly believe in evidence-based preventive medicine, as recommended by the United States Preventive Task Force:
"Created in 1984, the U.S. Preventive Services Task Force is an independent, volunteer panel of national experts in prevention and evidence-based medicine. The Task Force works to improve the health of all Americans by making evidence-based recommendations about clinical preventive services such as screenings, counseling services, and preventive medications. All recommendations are published on the Task Force’s Web site and/or in a peer-reviewed journal."
I recommend visiting the USPSTF search engine to see for yourself your own personal evidence-based recommendations (those with an A rating). Sherpaa doctors use those recommendations to ensure all patients are up to date with all preventive measures.
