About 30 to 40% of people in the working age demographic have chronic illnesses. While it's not the typical heart disease, cancer, and diabetes of the older demographic, they have other chronic illnesses like Crohns Disease, asthma, breast cancer, testicular cancer, depression, anxiety, etc. In addition to chronic illnesses, they also get acutely sick and injured, hence the high usage of urgent care centers and ERs. Sherpaa specializes in the unique issues found in this demographic. When young adults graduate from their pediatrician, they're sitting next to 90 year olds in an internist's office. We think working age young and middle age adults need a healthcare service that specializes in their unique medical issues.
